Currently, we are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer for our New Milford, Connecticut Mill to join our Regenerate & Improve (R & I) Team.

Position Summary:
Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate designs, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. Assignments may vary from individual contributor to program or initiative leadership providing work direction to peers and customers to achieve program or project objectives. Responsibilities include project results, project control and effective use of human resources. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies in both manufacturing and converting and in both staff and plant environments and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to the R & I Engineering Team Leader and receives direction in the form of broad assignment objectives. The Incumbent will be located at the New Milford Mill but may be required to travel to other sites as needed in support of other Mill R & I projects.

Sector Management, Project Sponsors, Staff Engineering, Portfolio Leaders, Mill Leadership, and Mill Asset Teams

Responsibilities:
1) Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $30 million from conception through commercialization.
2) Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development and optimization of converting and manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.
3) Develop knowledge and skills so as to be recognized for expertise and functional leadership in application of engineering principles, scientific analysis and project management while providing advice and counsel to others.
4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.

Qualifications:
1) Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical and/or Pulp and Paper Engineering from an accredited College or University and at least 12 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments. Candidates with an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered.
2) Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as: SPC statistical process control; design of experiments; process capability studies; Six Sigma; Others.
3) A recognized expert in manufacturing processes with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in major expense and capital projects.
4) A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:
1) 15+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments, including maintenance and operations.
2) Experience and expertise with Kimberly-Clark manufacturing process engineering technology, procedures, processes and products.
3) Experience with tissue manufacturing and/or converting is strongly preferred.

POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization and implementation of major manufacturing and supporting processes.

The Electrical Engineer for this role will provide engineering support on a business support team within the Tissue (Family Care) Research and Engineering organization. Scope:

Principal Accountabilities:

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Electrical Engineer for this role will provide plant electrical engineering support for the implementation and installation of a new high speed automated first of a kind (FOAK) machine. The person also will provide guidance in design, development, optimization and problem solving of this machine. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies including PLCs, vision inspection systems, servo drive systems, web handling, and ultrasonic bonding. They also must have a demonstrated ability to effectively interface with a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to the Acuña engineering manager and receives direction in the form of specific project objectives.
Currently, we are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support the Kimberly-Clark Health Care team in Acuña, Mexico.
The candidate for this role will receive international work experience while still living in the United States. The position is based out of Del Rio, TX; however, the plant is located across the border in Acuña, Mexico.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and typically 5-8 years experience and/or combinations of advanced degrees and lessor amounts of relevant experience. Alternatively, demonstrated equivalent scientific ability, based on extensive relevant experience and appropriate education.
• Experience in implementing capital projects in a Staff or Plant role (1-3+ years preferred).

PREFERRED qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability of writing and presenting updates to leadership.
• Experience with the preparation of appropriation documents including appropriation write-ups, appropriation estimates, asset detailing, asset write-offs, etc.
• Experience reading and interpreting CFIs.
• Experience with PLCs, vision inspection systems, and servo drive systems as well as experience with data collection related to these systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with the use of Lean tools including VSMs, SMED, Kaisens, etc.
• Experience with SAP modules including DTR, EBP, and PAC510.
• Experience in implementing validations including IQs/DOEs/OQs/PQs.
• Knowledge of Spanish desired

Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety, quality, and operational performance expectations. The Process Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in design, development optimization and problem solving of process engineering. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to an Engineering Team leader and receives direction in the form of general project objectives. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Process Engineer III to support the Kimberly-Clark regenerate and improve engineering team in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada. Key customers include: Family Care portfolio leaders, mill managers, team leaders, and engineering leaders.

Responsibilities:

1) Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $5 million from conception through commercialization.

2) Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of tissue manufacturing, converting, and distribution equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.

3) Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.

4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.

5) Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.

6) Assist in the development of others within the area of incumbent’s expertise.

Qualifications:

1) Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university and at least 8 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments. Candidates with a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered.

2) Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as: PI/Process Book, Plant Applications, SPC (statistical process control design of experiments; process capability studies; Six Sigma Others)

3) A recognized leader in tissue manufacturing and converting process and equipment including technology understanding and development with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in major capital projects.

4) A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise in tissue manufacturing and converting process and equipment.

2) Up to 15 years of experience in a variety of assignments, including engineering, maintenance and operations.
